Oh man. Sadly, I'm not surprised. I guess spending so many years doing bodybuilding, I grew used to hearing all kinds of horror stories (and seeing girls with horrible b-acne, deeper-than-Barry-White voices and square jawlines). What really p*ssed me off was that I was trying to compete against these monsters, cleanly, and my ex-husband couldn't respect that, and took steroids like they were going out of style. And he didn't even compete!
That's a chapter (bodybuilding) of my life that I'm so glad is closed... but it seems to be happening in cycling too. Not the same way, but you know...
Can't we all just compete without drugs? God.
