they're all very cute, but my faves are the baby elephant and the sheep riding sheep!

Sheep riding sheep! That is too good to express.

If you can wait a year we should have many cousins of the first photo scooting around our place, for free. And I have the sneaking suspicion that ours will be considerably less bitey than that python.

ooo snake babies?!?!? what kind!
i am a sucker for ball pythons - i love their heads and faces!

did you see snake night on animal planet a couple days ago? it was great! we caught the end of a show on pet pythons, then there was a show on anacondas, then "seven deadly strikes" about african poisonous snakes. i had no idea it was on, total bonus. greg was laughing at me the whole time, he says i should go to vet school for snakes since most girls don't like them, or something.

We went to the Portland dog ahow last week. Even though we don't own a TV, when the Animal Planet people asked my kids what their favorite shows were they had plenty of answers--we watch it at EVERY hotel! Extreme animals and Merecat Manor were tops. They got a bunch of stuff in goodybags from the nice animal planet people. .

Snake vet sounds great! My girls have always loved snakes. I have a sweet pic of three year old MC in a white lace dress, holding a snake and a toad!
I'd go for the baby elephant myself. . .

There is a place called Grayson Highlands, Va. that had all these feral ponies... maybe I should post some pics. They are OK except they come up to you, looking for a handout. They are bigger than Shetlands though.

Sheesh, I've been off the blogs.

We will probably have bebe hoggies & grey banded kingsnakes (I think you met all of ours), and we're hoping to find Cos (our indigo) a girlfriend but it's not guaranteed.

We just got 2 rosy boas for the holidays -- so fricking cute!
